Oliver attended our West Bend Kicking & Punting Camp this past June and has had one-on-one sessions with Coach Farley.
Never too young to be a dual threat
Oliver Shane is a 7th grade kicker and punter for the Cedarburg Dawgs football team. He’s their go-to guy for both kicking and punting. Oliver’s first year kicking was just last year, but he has already improved his technique tremendously and is an effective weapon for his coach and team.
At the youth level, extra points are awarded 2-points, so it’s a big plus for teams to have the ability to convert on kicks. “Ollie” is doing just that. This season, he has only missed one extra point. Likewise, his punting is consistent and improving his team’s field position.
Below are videos of a nice punt, PAT and kickoff, shot by his mom in the stands. The Dawgs have the benefit of playing their home games on the varsity field in Cedarburg and Ollie (and his family) can’t wait for his opportunity to kick for the Bulldogs under “Friday Night Lights”… class of 2029!
