Jack won our field goal contest at our Plymouth Kicking Camp this summer in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Klundt hits game winning FG to beat #1 ranked team!

Jack Klundt, a senior kicker and at Neenah High School, just made the “kick of his life” by nailing a 29 yarder with just seconds to go in the game vs. Kimberly High School.

Kimberly came into the game ranked #1 in Division 1 in the State of Wisconsin. A perrenial power, beating the Papermakers is a tough task for any team… but for Neenah, it was extra special since they play in the same conference, year-in and year-out.

After an amazingly good game, the Rockets found their way to Kimberly’s 12 yard line with under 25 seconds to go in the game. Jack set up his block on the 19 for a 29 yard field goal. Neenah took their time, milking the clock for all it was worth and made a picture perfect kick for the 1-point win!

It’s exactly what every kicker dreams of doing — and exactly the kind of outcome on a kick that has earned the trust of Rockets Coach, Steve Jung.

Neenah moved up to the #21 ranked team in the state with a 5-2 record and now tied for second place in the Fox Valley Conference behind Kaukauna. They’ve already qualified for the WIAA playoffs, so we will see if Jack gets more opportunities to shine.

We know Jack is ready for more.
