Coach Farley to lead specialists’ Combine
MARK YOUR CALENDAR!
Wednesday, June 18th, will be the much anticipated Minnesconsin Mega Camp held in River Falls, Wisconsin — at David Smith Stadium / Ramer Field where the UW-River Falls Falcons play their home games. It’s is a turf field and the expectation is very strong for a HUGE turn-out!
Why such a big event?
Coach Matt Walker (Head Coach UW-River Falls) will be in charge of this, the 3rd year for the MEGA CAMP. Last year’s attendance was over 1,000 high school athletes (yes, you read that right), because so many D1, D2 and D3 coaches and scouts will be in both in the stands and on the field, watching the action.
Position Players AND Specialists!
The majority of athletes will participate in 40 yard dash, L-run, vertical jump and other drills to test their strength and agility. The kickers and punters will have their own time and own space on the field to be charted in kickoff distance and hangtime, punting distance and hangtime, as well as a charted field goal drill.
What’s to come…
Begin to prepare for your moment. For underclassmen, (camp open for all high school players Fr, So, JR & SR), it’s a great way to test your nerves and to see how you stack up against some of the Midwest’s best football players. For seniors who are eager to kick or punt at the college level, here’s an opportunity to truly get the exposure you desire!
This is run through Coach Matt Walker (UW-River Falls Head Football Coach) and is not part of Mike Farley’s Kickers Camp. All payments go through them, not through MFKC Venmo account. Coach Farley will simply be heading up Session 2, the kicking and punting portion of the Mega Camp.
It’ll be a wild experience!
NOTE: THIS CAMP IS NOT BEING HANDLED BY MIKE FARLEY’S KICKERS CAMP. Coach Farley is simply an expert instructor who has been asked to help lead kicking and punting specialists through a series of drills to help college recruiters determine their interest in each player.
